To connect your LG RL4 speaker to a Bluetooth device, turn on the speaker, press the Bluetooth button on the control panel, and then search for "LG RL4" in your device's Bluetooth settings to pair.
First, ensure the speaker is plugged into a working power outlet. Check the power cable for any damage. If it still does not turn on, try a different outlet or consider contacting LG support for further assistance.
To perform a factory reset on the LG RL4 speaker, press and hold the power button and the Bluetooth button simultaneously for about 10 seconds until the speaker restarts.
Sound distortion can occur if the volume is set too high. Try reducing the volume on the speaker and the connected device. Also, check for any physical obstructions near the speaker that may affect sound quality.
The LG RL4 speaker can only maintain one active Bluetooth connection at a time. To switch devices, disconnect the current device and pair the new one.
To update the firmware, download the LG Bluetooth app on your smartphone, connect the speaker via Bluetooth, and follow the in-app instructions to check and install any available updates.
Clean the exterior of the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using liquids or abrasive cleaners. Regularly check for dust in the speaker grills and gently remove it to ensure optimal sound quality.
Ensure there are no physical obstructions between the speaker and the Bluetooth device. Keep both devices within a maximum range of 10 meters (33 feet) for optimal performance.
Ensure the USB device is formatted in FAT32 and contains compatible audio files. Double-check the connection and try using a different USB drive if the issue persists.
To enable party mode, press the "Multi-Play" button on the speaker. Ensure that other compatible LG speakers are also in party mode to sync them together.
