To clean the filter, first ensure the machine is turned off. Locate the filter access door at the bottom front of the machine. Open the door, unscrew the filter cap, and remove any debris. Rinse the filter under running water and replace it securely.
Check if the load is unbalanced and redistribute clothes evenly. Ensure the lid or door is closed properly. If the problem persists, inspect the drive belt for wear and consult the user manual for further troubleshooting.
Run a monthly maintenance wash with an empty drum using a washing machine cleaner or a mixture of white vinegar and baking soda. Leave the door slightly ajar after each wash to allow the interior to dry.
Use high-efficiency (HE) detergent to avoid excessive suds. Follow the dose instructions on the detergent packaging based on load size and soil level.
To reset the machine, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 5 minutes, then plug it back in. This can help resolve certain error codes and operational issues.
Check for blockages in the drain hose and filter. Ensure the drain hose is not kinked or clogged. If the issue continues, examine the pump for obstructions and consult the user manual for further guidance.
Load your washing machine and select the desired program. Press the delay start button and set the delay time using the control panel. Once set, press the start button to activate the delay timer.
Regularly clean the detergent drawer and door seal. Inspect hoses for any signs of wear and replace if necessary. Run a maintenance wash monthly and keep the exterior clean and dry.
Select your desired wash program, then use the spin speed button to adjust the spin speed according to your preference. Make sure to confirm the selection before starting the wash cycle.
Refer to the user manual to identify the error code. Follow the recommended troubleshooting steps provided. If the error persists, contact Hoover customer support for assistance.
