To start a wash cycle, load your laundry into the drum, add detergent, close the door, select the desired program using the control dial, and press the start button.
Ensure the power cord is plugged in, the socket is working, and the machine’s door is properly closed. If the problem persists, check the fuse or circuit breaker.
Remove the detergent drawer by pulling it out and pressing the release lever. Wash it with warm water and a brush to remove any residue, then dry and reinsert.
Check for blockages in the drain hose and pump filter. Clean any debris and ensure the hose is not kinked or obstructed.
Ensure the machine is level and all four feet are firmly positioned on the ground. Avoid overloading and distribute laundry evenly in the drum.
Run an empty cycle with a drum cleaning detergent or a cup of white vinegar at a high temperature to remove detergent buildup and odors.
The Hoover VT 616D21 1-80 has a load capacity of 6 kg. Do not exceed this limit to ensure optimal washing performance.
Inspect the door seal for damage, ensure the detergent drawer is closed properly, and check hoses for leaks or loose connections.
Refer to the user manual to identify the error code. Reset the machine by turning it off and unplugging it for a few minutes before restarting.
Clean the pump filter every month or whenever you notice drainage issues. This helps maintain the efficiency of the washing machine.
