Sort laundry by fabric type and color. Do not overload the drum; leave enough space for the clothes to move freely. Distribute items evenly around the drum to maintain balance during the spin cycle.
Check if the washing machine is plugged in and the power switch is turned on. Ensure the door is closed properly. Verify if the water supply is connected and turned on. Examine the control panel for any error codes.
Remove the detergent drawer by pulling it out and pressing the release lever. Rinse it under warm water to remove any residue or buildup. Use a soft brush to clean any stubborn deposits. Allow it to dry before reinserting it into the machine.
Regularly clean the detergent drawer and filter. Check hoses for leaks or wear. Run an empty hot wash cycle with a cup of white vinegar once a month to clean the drum and eliminate odors.
Ensure the drain hose is not kinked or blocked. Clean the pump filter located at the bottom of the machine. Make sure the drain hose is positioned correctly at an appropriate height.
Use a high-efficiency (HE) detergent for optimal washing performance and to prevent excessive suds. Adjust the detergent amount based on the load size and soil level.
Ensure the washing machine is level by adjusting its feet. Avoid overloading the drum and evenly distribute laundry. Place the machine on a sturdy, flat surface.
Run an empty hot wash cycle with a cup of white vinegar or a washing machine cleaner. Clean the door seal and drum regularly. Leave the door slightly open after each wash to allow air circulation.
Turn off the machine and unplug it. Locate the filter access panel at the bottom front of the washer. Open the panel, unscrew the filter cap, and remove any debris or lint. Rinse the filter under running water before replacing it.
Consult the user manual to identify the error code and recommended actions. Common steps include checking the water supply, ensuring the door is closed, and resetting the machine by turning it off and on again.
