To start a wash cycle, load your laundry into the drum, add detergent to the dispenser, close the door, select the desired wash program using the control knob, and press the start button.
First, check if the drain hose is kinked or blocked. Ensure the pump filter is clean. If the problem persists, it might require a technician to inspect the pump.
Remove the detergent drawer by pulling it out and pressing down on the release lever. Rinse it under warm water to remove any detergent buildup, then dry and reinsert it.
Regularly clean the detergent drawer and door seal, check and clean the pump filter, and ensure the drum is free of debris. Run an empty hot wash with a washing machine cleaner monthly.
Ensure the washing machine is level and stable. Check if the load is balanced. Avoid washing heavy and light items together as this can cause imbalance.
To reset the machine, turn it off and unplug it for a few minutes. Plug it back in and turn it on. This can help resolve minor electronic glitches.
Use high-efficiency (HE) detergent for optimal performance and to prevent excess suds. Follow the detergent manufacturer's instructions for dosage.
Leave the door slightly open after each wash to allow air circulation. Regularly clean the door seal and run a monthly maintenance wash with a machine cleaner.
Check if the water has completely drained. If not, manually drain it. If the door remains locked, wait a few minutes as it might take time for the lock to release.
Wash full loads whenever possible, use cold water settings, and choose shorter cycle options when suitable for lightly soiled clothes.
