To start a wash cycle, first load your dishes, add the detergent, and close the door. Then, select your desired wash program using the program selector dial and press the start button.
If your dishwasher is not draining, check the filter and drain hose for blockages. Ensure that the drain hose is not kinked and that the sink drain is clear. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact customer support.
To clean the filter, remove the bottom rack of the dishwasher and twist the filter counterclockwise to remove it. Rinse the filter under running water to remove debris and reassemble it back in place.
Regularly clean the filter, spray arms, and door seals. Use dishwasher cleaner monthly to remove limescale and grease buildup. Ensure that the water softener is set correctly if you have hard water.
A white residue may be due to hard water. Use rinse aid and ensure that your water softener settings are correct. Additionally, check if you are using too much detergent or if the detergent is not suitable for your water hardness.
Check if any dishes are obstructing the door. Ensure that the racks are properly aligned and that the door latch is not damaged. If the issue persists, inspect the door seals and hinges for damage.
To reset the dishwasher, turn it off and unplug it from the power source for about 10 minutes. Then plug it back in and turn it on. This can help clear minor electronic glitches.
Error code E3 typically indicates a heating issue. Ensure the water supply is on, and the inlet hose is not kinked. If the problem continues, it may require professional service to check the heating element.
It is recommended to use detergents that are specifically designed for dishwashers. Avoid using hand dishwashing liquids, as they can create excessive suds and damage the machine.
To improve drying performance, use a rinse aid to help water slide off dishes. Also, ensure that the dishwasher is not overloaded and that the dishes are properly arranged to allow air circulation.
