To reset the Hoover DYN 9164DPG L-80, turn off the machine and unplug it from the power outlet. Wait for about 5 minutes before plugging it back in. Turn the machine on and select a new wash cycle.
Ensure that the door is properly closed. Check if the power cord is plugged in and that there is power at the outlet. Additionally, make sure that the water supply is turned on and the machine is not in pause mode.
To clean the filter, first unplug the machine and locate the filter access panel at the bottom front of the washer. Open it, remove the filter by turning it counterclockwise, and clean it under running water. Reinsert and secure the filter before closing the panel.

Run an empty hot wash cycle with a cup of white vinegar or a washing machine cleaner to eliminate odors. Also, regularly clean the detergent drawer and door seal to prevent buildup.
