To start a wash cycle, first load your laundry into the drum. Add detergent to the appropriate compartment. Use the control dial to select your desired program, then press the 'Start' button to begin the cycle.
Check if the drain hose is kinked or blocked. Ensure the drain filter is clean and not obstructed. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact customer support for assistance.
Remove the detergent drawer by pulling it out gently. Wash it with warm soapy water and a soft brush to remove any residue. Rinse thoroughly and let it dry before reinserting it into the washing machine.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the detergent drawer monthly, checking and cleaning the drain filter every 6 months, and running an empty hot wash cycle with a washing machine cleaner every 3 months.
Ensure the washing machine is level and stable. Check for any loose items inside the drum. Also, inspect the transit bolts if the machine has recently been installed and remove them if present.
Check if the load is balanced and not too heavy. Ensure the 'Spin' function is selected. If the problem continues, inspect the belt and motor for any issues, or contact a technician.
Refer to the user manual for the specific error code explanation and troubleshooting steps. If the issue persists, contact Hoover customer support for further assistance.
Use the appropriate amount of detergent based on the load size and water hardness. Sort laundry by fabric type and soil level. Use the recommended wash programs and temperatures for different fabrics.
To reset the machine, turn it off and unplug it from the power source for a few minutes. Plug it back in and turn it on. This may resolve minor electronic glitches.
Leave the door open after each wash cycle to allow air circulation. Wipe the door seal dry and clean it regularly. Run a maintenance wash with a washing machine cleaner monthly.
