Ensure the machine is plugged in and the power socket is functional. Check if the door is properly closed and the start button is pressed. If the problem persists, inspect the fuse or circuit breaker.
Remove the detergent drawer by pulling it out and pressing the release lever. Wash it under warm water to remove any detergent residue. Dry it thoroughly before reinserting.
Ensure the machine is level and all transit bolts are removed. Check that the load is balanced and not overloaded. Adjust the feet to stabilize the machine.
Check for blockages in the drain hose or filter. Ensure the hose is not kinked and the pump filter is clear. If necessary, inspect the pump for any visible obstructions.
Run an empty cycle at the hottest temperature with a washing machine cleaner or a cup of white vinegar and baking soda to clean the drum and eliminate odors.
Use the 'Delicate' program, which uses a gentle wash action and lower spin speeds to protect delicate fabrics from damage.
Wash full loads whenever possible, use lower temperature settings, and select the Eco program to reduce energy usage.
Ensure the cycle has fully completed and wait for a few minutes. Check the 'Door Lock' indicator light is off. If necessary, unplug the machine for a few minutes and try again.
Locate the filter at the bottom front of the machine. Turn it counterclockwise to remove and clean it under running water. Replace it securely before using the machine again.
Regularly check and clean the filter and detergent drawer, run a maintenance wash monthly, and inspect hoses and connections for leaks or wear.
