To start a wash cycle, load your laundry into the drum, add detergent to the dispenser, close the door securely, select your desired wash program using the control panel, and press the start button.
Check if the drain hose is kinked or blocked. Ensure the drain pump filter is clean and free of debris. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact customer support.
Remove the detergent drawer by pulling it out gently. Wash it with warm water and a soft brush to remove any detergent residue. Dry it thoroughly before reinserting.
Run an empty hot wash cycle with a drum cleaning agent or vinegar once a month to prevent mold and detergent buildup. Wipe the drum and door seal with a damp cloth after each use.
Ensure the washing machine is level and stable. Check that the load is balanced and not overloaded. Use anti-vibration pads if necessary.
Refer to the user manual for the specific error code. Follow the troubleshooting steps provided. If the issue persists, contact Hoover customer service for assistance.
Locate the filter at the bottom front of the machine. Unscrew the filter cap and remove any debris. Rinse it under running water and replace it securely.
Excessive vibration can occur if the machine is not level or if the load is unbalanced. Adjust the feet of the machine to ensure it's level and redistribute the laundry evenly in the drum.
Use cold water wash programs whenever possible, wash full loads instead of partial ones, and opt for energy-saving cycles. Regular maintenance also ensures efficient operation.
Wait a few minutes as the door might be locked due to the safety mechanism. If it remains locked, check if water is still in the drum, then drain it manually and try opening the door again.
