To reset the Hoover DDY 062X E dishwasher, press and hold the start button for approximately 5 seconds until the indicator lights flash. Release the button to complete the reset process.
Check if the drain hose is kinked or blocked. Clean the dishwasher filter and ensure the sink drain is not clogged. If the problem persists, inspect the pump for any obstructions.
To clean the filter, remove the lower dishwasher rack, twist the filter counterclockwise, and lift it out. Rinse it under running water to remove any debris and reinstall it by twisting clockwise until secure.
Ensure you are using the correct amount of detergent and rinse aid. Check the water hardness level and adjust the rinse aid dispenser settings accordingly. Clean the spray arms and ensure the dishwasher is not overloaded.
Ensure the door is fully closed and latched. Check that the dishwasher is plugged in and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Verify that the water supply is turned on and the delay start function is not activated.
It is recommended to clean the spray arms every 3-4 months. Remove the spray arms and rinse them under running water to clear any blockages, using a toothpick to remove stubborn debris.
Place large items like pots and pans on the bottom rack, ensuring they do not block the spray arms. Load cups and glasses on the top rack, and cutlery in the designated basket with handles facing down.
Regularly clean the filter and door seals. Run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner or a cup of white vinegar placed on the top rack. Ensure food particles are not left on dishes before loading.
Routinely clean the filter, spray arms, and door seals. Check and clean the drain pump and ensure the water inlet is not blocked. Regularly inspect hoses for any signs of wear or leaks.
Ensure dishes are not touching each other and that the spray arms can rotate freely. Check for any foreign objects stuck in the pump or spray arms. Inspect the dishwasher's leveling to prevent vibrations.
