To pair your Ezviz T2C Sensor with the hub, press and hold the pairing button on the sensor until the LED indicator blinks rapidly. Then, initiate pairing mode on your Ezviz hub through the app or hub interface. The devices should automatically connect.
Ensure that the sensor is properly mounted and within range of the Ezviz hub. Check if the battery is charged and the sensor is not obstructed. If problems persist, try resetting the sensor and re-pairing it with the hub.
To reset the sensor, press and hold the reset button for about 10 seconds until the LED indicator flashes rapidly. This will restore the sensor to its factory settings.
To change the battery, open the back cover of the sensor using a screwdriver. Remove the old battery and replace it with a new one, ensuring the correct polarity. Secure the back cover and test the sensor functionality.
The recommended installation height for the Ezviz T2C Sensor is between 2 to 2.5 meters (6.5 to 8.2 feet) above the ground to ensure optimal detection coverage.
The Ezviz T2C Sensor is designed for indoor use only. Using it outdoors may lead to improper functionality due to exposure to elements such as rain and extreme temperatures.
Firmware updates for the Ezviz T2C Sensor are handled through the Ezviz app. Ensure your sensor is connected to the hub and follow the app instructions to check for and install any available updates.
The Ezviz T2C Sensor uses a CR123A lithium battery. It is recommended to use high-quality batteries for optimal performance and longevity.
After installation, walk in front of the sensor to trigger motion detection. Observe the LED indicator and check the Ezviz app for notifications to confirm the sensor is functioning properly.
Continuous blinking of the LED indicates that the sensor may be in pairing mode or has lost connection to the hub. Check your hub’s connection status and attempt to re-pair the sensor.
