To set up the Ezviz EB3 camera, download the Ezviz app on your smartphone, create an account or log in, and follow the on-screen instructions to add a new device. Ensure the camera is powered on and connected to your Wi-Fi network.
Ensure your Wi-Fi network is operational and the camera is within range. Restart your router and camera, and double-check the Wi-Fi credentials entered in the app. If issues persist, reset the camera and try connecting again.
Open the Ezviz app on your smartphone, log in to your account, and select the camera from the device list to view the live feed from anywhere with an internet connection.
To update the firmware, open the Ezviz app, go to the camera settings, and check for available firmware updates. Follow the prompts to download and install the latest version. Ensure the camera remains powered on during the update.
Locate the reset button on the camera, press and hold it for about 10 seconds until the status light flashes, indicating the camera is resetting to factory settings.
Ensure the night vision mode is enabled in the camera settings via the Ezviz app. Check if the camera lens is clean and unobstructed. If issues persist, try restarting the camera or updating its firmware.
Adjust the motion detection sensitivity settings in the Ezviz app. Position the camera to reduce false alarms from moving trees or traffic, and ensure the camera's field of view is clear and unobstructed.
Regularly clean the camera lens and housing to prevent dirt buildup. Check for firmware updates periodically and ensure the camera is securely mounted and free of obstructions.
To extend battery life, adjust the motion detection sensitivity to reduce unnecessary recordings, and ensure the camera is in a location with minimal interference. Consider using a solar panel charger if available.
