To load labels into the Epson TM-C3400, open the printer cover, place the roll onto the holder, and feed the leading edge of the label into the printer until it automatically grabs the label. Close the cover, and the printer will automatically position the label roll.
If the printer is not printing correctly, check if the ink cartridges are correctly installed, ensure there is no paper jam, and verify that the printer drivers are up to date. Running a nozzle check and cleaning the print head may also resolve print issues.
To clean the print head, access the printer maintenance settings on your computer or directly on the printer, and select the 'Head Cleaning' option. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
The Epson TM-C3400 supports a variety of media types including continuous labels, die-cut labels, wristbands, and tickets. Ensure the media is within the printer's supported size and thickness specifications.
To perform a nozzle check, use the printer utility software on your computer and select 'Nozzle Check.' Print the pattern and examine the printout for any gaps or misalignments in the lines.
Streaks or lines in prints can be due to clogged nozzles. Perform a print head cleaning and a nozzle check to ensure all nozzles are firing correctly. If the problem persists, consider replacing the ink cartridges.
To update the firmware, download the latest firmware from the Epson support website. Connect the printer to your computer, run the firmware update utility, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
Refer to the printer’s user manual for the specific error code explanation. Common solutions include checking paper jams, ensuring ink cartridges are properly installed, and restarting the printer.
While it is possible to use third-party ink cartridges, it is recommended to use genuine Epson ink to ensure optimal performance and avoid any potential damage to the printer.
For connectivity issues, first ensure the printer is properly connected to the network and that the cables are secure. Check if the correct drivers are installed and that the printer is selected as the default printer. Restart the printer and your network device if necessary.
