Denon AVR-790 Getting Started

To set up your Denon AVR-790, connect your speakers and input sources, then run the Audyssey Auto Setup by following the on-screen instructions through the Setup Assistant.
Check all cable connections, ensure the receiver is set to the correct input source, and verify that the mute function is not activated. Additionally, check speaker connections and volume levels.
The Denon AVR-790 does not support firmware updates via the internet. Check the Denon website or contact customer support for any available updates or instructions specific to your model.
The Denon AVR-790 does not have native app support for smartphone control; however, you may use a universal remote app with an IR blaster if compatible.
Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the exterior of the receiver. Avoid using any liquid cleaners. Ensure ventilation openings are free from dust and debris.
To reset the Denon AVR-790, press and hold the "Power" button while pressing "Speaker A" and "Speaker B" buttons simultaneously until the display starts flashing.
The Denon AVR-790 supports Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, and other multi-channel audio formats, providing a rich surround sound experience.
Ensure adequate ventilation around the receiver. Do not block the vents, and consider using a cooling fan or relocating the unit to a cooler area.
The Denon AVR-790 does not have built-in Bluetooth support. You can connect a Bluetooth adapter to an available input to stream audio wirelessly.
Adjust the bass settings in the receiver’s audio menu. You can also experiment with speaker placement and ensure your subwoofer is configured correctly.
