To reset your Canon EOS 80D to factory settings, go to the menu, select the 'Wrench' or 'Setup' tab, and choose 'Clear all camera settings'. Confirm the reset to restore factory settings.
Ensure that the lens is set to autofocus (AF) mode. Check if the camera's AF settings are appropriate for your subject. Clean the lens and camera contacts if necessary.
Download the latest firmware from the Canon website, transfer it to a formatted SD card, insert the card into the camera, and follow the on-screen instructions to update the firmware.
Use the camera's automatic sensor cleaning function first. For manual cleaning, use a blower to remove dust. If necessary, a sensor cleaning kit can be used with caution.
Press the Menu button, go to the 'Wireless communication settings', choose 'Wi-Fi function', and follow the prompts to connect to a Wi-Fi network.
Set the camera to 'Drive Mode' and select 'High-Speed Continuous'. Hold down the shutter button to capture multiple images in quick succession.
Reduce the use of power-intensive features like Wi-Fi and Live View. Ensure the battery is fully charged and store it in a cool, dry place when not in use. Consider replacing an old battery.
Go to the camera menu, select 'Shooting Menu', and then 'HDR Mode'. Choose the desired HDR effect and take the photo.
The Canon EOS 80D supports SD, SDHC, and SDXC memory cards. For best performance, use a card with a UHS-I speed class.
Use a USB cable to connect the camera to the computer or remove the SD card and use a card reader. Follow the prompts on your computer to access and transfer the files.
