To set up wireless printing, press the 'Menu' button on the printer, navigate to 'Network', then 'WLAN', and select 'Setup Wizard'. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your network and enter the Wi-Fi password.
First, turn off the printer. Open the front cover and remove the drum and toner assembly. Carefully remove any jammed paper, ensuring no scraps are left inside. Reinstall the drum and toner, close the cover, and turn the printer back on.
Check the ink levels to ensure cartridges are not empty. Clean the print head using the printer's maintenance menu. If the problem persists, perform a test print to diagnose the issue further.
To improve print quality, clean the print head using the printer's cleaning function. Check the paper type settings and ensure you are using the recommended paper. Replace low or empty ink cartridges if necessary.
Open the ink cartridge cover and press the lock release lever to remove the empty cartridge. Unpack the new cartridge, insert it into the corresponding slot, and press down until it clicks. Close the ink cartridge cover.
Ensure the printer is within range of the Wi-Fi router. Restart the printer and router. Re-run the wireless setup wizard on the printer, and ensure the correct network and password are selected.
To perform a factory reset, press 'Menu', go to 'Initial Setup', select 'Reset', and choose 'All Settings'. Confirm the reset by pressing 'Yes'. The printer will restart and reset to factory settings.
Place the document on the scanner glass. Press 'Scan' on the printer, select the scan type (e.g., 'To File'), and choose the PC to send the scan to. Start the scan by pressing 'Start'.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the print head, checking and cleaning the paper feed rollers, and ensuring firmware is up to date. Periodically check and replace ink cartridges as needed.
Slow printing can be due to high-resolution settings. Check the print settings on your computer and reduce the print quality if high quality is not necessary. Ensure the printer firmware is updated and that there are no network issues.
