To set up wireless printing, first, ensure your wireless network is active. On the printer, go to Menu > Network > WLAN > Setup Wizard. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
Check if the printer is turned on and connected to the same network as your computer. Ensure that there are no error messages on the printer display. Verify that the printer is set as the default printer on your computer and that there are no print jobs stuck in the queue.
Place the document you want to scan on the scanner glass or in the document feeder. Open the ControlCenter software on your computer, select the Scan option, and follow the prompts to complete the scan.
Turn off the printer and carefully remove any jammed paper from the paper tray, output tray, or rear cover. Ensure no small pieces are left inside the printer, and then restart the printer.
Open the ink cartridge cover and press the lock release lever to remove the empty cartridge. Unpack the new cartridge and insert it into the correct slot, ensuring it clicks into place. Close the ink cartridge cover.
Regularly clean the scanner glass and document feeder, ensure the printer firmware is up to date, and perform print head cleaning via the printer's maintenance menu to avoid clogs.
Check if the ink cartridges are empty or improperly installed. Run a print head cleaning cycle via the printer's maintenance menu to clear any blockages.
Navigate to Menu > Network > WLAN > Setup Wizard on the printer. Select the new Wi-Fi network and enter the password when prompted to connect.
Ensure the printer is not set to a high-quality print mode unless necessary. Check the network connection strength and try moving the printer closer to the router if using Wi-Fi.
Visit the Brother support website, download the latest firmware for the MFC-625W model, and follow the provided instructions to update via USB or network connection.
