To clear a paper jam, first turn off the printer and unplug it. Open all covers and carefully remove any jammed paper. Make sure no pieces are left inside. Close the covers securely and plug the printer back in. Turn it on and try printing again.
Ensure that the network cable is securely connected. Check if the printer's network settings are correct by printing a network configuration page. If issues persist, restart your router and printer.
Open the front cover and pull out the drum unit. Remove the used toner cartridge from the drum unit. Unpack the new toner cartridge and remove the protective cover. Install the new cartridge into the drum unit and slide it back into the printer. Close the front cover.
Turn off the printer and unplug it. Open the front cover and remove the drum unit. Use a dry, lint-free cloth to gently wipe the drum surface. Reinstall the drum unit and close the front cover. Plug in the printer and turn it on.
To improve print quality, clean the corona wire on the drum unit by sliding the green tab several times. Ensure you're using the correct paper type and quality. Adjust the print density settings in the printer driver if needed.
Check if the toner cartridge is empty or improperly installed. Ensure that there are no obstructions in the paper path and that the correct paper size is selected in the printer settings.
Open the front cover and press the "Options" button until "Drum Unit" is displayed. Press the "1" key to confirm the reset. Close the front cover.
Regularly clean the printer's exterior and interior using a soft, dry cloth. Replace the toner and drum unit when necessary. Update the printer’s firmware and driver software to the latest version.
Print a test page or a printer settings page from the printer's control panel to check the toner level. Alternatively, use the printer's software on your computer to view toner status.
Refer to the printer's manual to interpret the LED light pattern. Common causes include low toner, paper jams, or a need for maintenance. Follow the recommended troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.
