To reset the SMC, shutdown your MacBook, then press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. Release, and wait a few seconds before turning it back on.
Ensure proper ventilation, close unnecessary apps, and consider using a cooling pad. Check Activity Monitor for high resource usage apps.
Reduce screen brightness, use Safari for web browsing, enable battery saver mode, and turn off keyboard backlighting when not needed.
Check for software updates, remove unused apps, clear cache files, and ensure there is adequate free disk space available.
Use a compatible cable or adapter with the Thunderbolt 4 ports. Go to System Preferences > Displays to configure the external display settings.
Check the power connection, perform an SMC reset, and try a different power adapter. If the issue persists, contact Apple Support.
Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a screen cleaner. Avoid excessive moisture and do not use harsh chemicals.
Use Time Machine, accessible via System Preferences, to back up to an external drive. Alternatively, consider cloud storage solutions.
Ensure your MacBook is compatible with the new macOS version, back up your data, and follow the instructions in System Preferences > Software Update.
Restart your router and MacBook, ensure macOS is up to date, and check Wi-Fi settings in System Preferences. Resetting the PRAM/NVRAM may also help.
