To clean your popcorn maker, unplug the unit and allow it to cool. Remove the popping chamber and wash it with warm, soapy water. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling.
Use the provided measuring cup to add the recommended amount of popcorn kernels. Typically, 1/2 cup of kernels is sufficient for one batch. Do not exceed this amount to prevent overflow.
Incomplete popping may be due to stale kernels or not enough heat. Ensure kernels are fresh and try preheating the unit for a couple of minutes before adding the kernels.
This model is designed for air popping and does not require oil or butter. You can add melted butter or seasoning after the popcorn has popped.
If the unit stops working, unplug it and allow it to cool for at least 15 minutes. Check for any obstructions and ensure the unit is not overloaded. Plug it back in and try again. If the issue persists, contact customer service.
Ensure the cover and butter-melting cup are correctly in place. Avoid overfilling the machine with kernels to reduce the chance of popcorn flying out.
Store the popcorn maker in a cool, dry place. Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing to prevent mold or odors. Keep the cord wrapped neatly around the base.
A slight smell is normal initially as the unit heats up. If the smell persists or is strong, ensure there are no old kernels or residue in the popping chamber and that the unit is clean.
If the unit overheats, unplug it immediately and allow it to cool down. Check for any obstructions and ensure proper ventilation around the machine before using it again.
Chewy popcorn can result from excess moisture. Ensure the kernels are dry and fresh, and consider using the machine in a less humid environment.
