To assemble, attach the bowl to the base, ensure the cover is securely placed on top, and insert the stirring rod into the motor hub.
Unplug the machine and allow it to cool. Wipe the base with a damp cloth and wash the cover and bowl with warm soapy water. Ensure all parts are dry before reassembling.
Ensure you're using fresh, high-quality popcorn kernels and that the machine is preheated. Also, avoid overfilling the bowl.
You can use any high-smoke point oil such as coconut, canola, or vegetable oil for optimal results.
Typically, use 1/3 cup of popcorn kernels and 1-2 tablespoons of oil. Adjust as needed for different batch sizes.
Check for obstructions and ensure the stirring rod is properly seated in the motor hub. If problems persist, inspect the motor for issues.
Ensure you're not exceeding recommended quantities and monitor the popping process to turn off the machine once popping slows.
Check the power cord and outlet. Ensure the plug is fully inserted and test a different outlet if necessary.
It's best to add butter and seasonings after the popcorn has been popped to avoid damaging the unit or affecting performance.
Routinely clean the unit after each use and inspect for wear and tear periodically, especially on moving parts like the stirring rod.
