Unplug the popcorn maker and allow it to cool completely. Remove any unpopped kernels and use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the interior and exterior. Do not immerse the base in water. The lid and popper bowl can be washed in warm, soapy water.
Use oils with high smoke points such as coconut oil, canola oil, or vegetable oil. Avoid using butter as it may burn and cause sticking.
For best results, use 1/2 cup of popcorn kernels and 1-2 tablespoons of oil per batch. Adjust measurements based on your preference and the size of the batch.
Ensure the unit is plugged into a working outlet. Check the power cord for any damage. If the power light does not turn on, the heating element may be faulty and require professional repair.
Moisture in the kernels or insufficient heating can cause chewy popcorn. Ensure kernels are stored in a dry place and the popper is preheated for a few minutes before adding kernels.
It's recommended to add melted butter to the popcorn after popping to avoid burning and sticking. Use oils with higher smoke points during the popping process.
Ensure you are using fresh popcorn kernels and the correct amount of oil. Stir the kernels gently during the popping process if possible.
Immediately turn off and unplug the unit. Allow it to cool before cleaning any burnt residue. Check for oil or popcorn debris on the heating element.
After popping, add seasonings such as salt, cheese powder, or caramel while the popcorn is still warm. Toss to evenly coat. Use pre-mixed seasoning blends for convenience.
Unusual noises may result from debris caught in the motor or heating element. Ensure the unit is clean and free of any obstructions. If the noise persists, consult customer support.
