To pair your smartphone, go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone and ensure it is discoverable. On the Sensus screen, navigate to Settings > Communication > Bluetooth Devices and select your phone from the list. Follow the prompts to complete the pairing process.
If the system is unresponsive, try performing a soft reset by pressing and holding the home button on the center console for about 10 seconds until the screen restarts. If the issue persists, consult your dealer.
To update the maps, visit the Volvo Cars Support website, download the latest map data to a USB drive, and then connect the USB drive to your car's USB port. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.
To adjust sound settings, select Settings > Sound on the Sensus display. From there, you can adjust bass, treble, balance, and fader settings to your preference.
To connect to Wi-Fi, go to Settings > Communication > Wi-Fi and turn on the Wi-Fi option. Then select the desired network and enter the password if required.
First, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both your phone and the Sensus system. Delete the existing pairings and try pairing again. If issues persist, restart both devices and check for system updates.
To use voice control, press the voice control button on the steering wheel. Speak clearly after the beep and use predefined commands for navigation, phone calls, or audio control. Refer to the manual for a list of commands.
To personalize the home screen, press and hold an icon until it starts to jiggle, then drag it to the desired position. You can also add shortcuts to frequently used functions through the Settings menu.
To perform a factory reset, go to Settings > System > Factory Reset. Confirm your choice to reset the system to its original settings. Note that this will erase all saved data.
Regularly check for software updates to ensure optimal performance. Clean the screen with a soft, dry cloth to prevent smudges. Avoid using harsh chemicals or materials that could damage the screen.
