To change the water filter, locate the filter in the bottom right corner of the refrigerator compartment. Turn the old filter counterclockwise to remove it. Insert the new filter and turn it clockwise until it locks in place. Run water through the dispenser for 5 minutes to purge air and impurities.
Check if the fridge is overloaded and blocking air vents. Ensure the doors seal properly. Verify that the temperature settings are correct (refrigerator at 37°F and freezer at 0°F). Clean the condenser coils and ensure the back of the fridge has proper ventilation.
To reset the ice maker, locate the ice maker reset button. Press and hold the button for about 10 seconds until you hear a chime. Release the button and wait 24 hours for the ice production to return to normal.
Check if the defrost drain is clogged. Clean the drain hole with warm water. Ensure the water filter is correctly installed and that the water lines are not damaged or disconnected.
Press the Freezer or Fridge button repeatedly until the desired temperature is displayed. The temperature will adjust in small increments each time the button is pressed. For optimal performance, set the refrigerator to 37°F and the freezer to 0°F.
Unusual noises can be due to the refrigerator not being level, items inside vibrating, or normal operational sounds. Ensure the fridge is on a flat surface and that items inside are not touching the walls. Some hums and clicks are normal as the fridge operates.
To manually defrost, remove all items from the freezer and unplug the refrigerator. Leave the freezer door open to allow ice to melt. Use towels to absorb water, and once defrosted, clean and dry the interior before plugging the fridge back in.
The "OF OF" code indicates that the refrigerator is in demo mode. To exit demo mode, press and hold the Energy Saver and Freezer buttons simultaneously for about 3 seconds until the display panel goes blank and then resumes normal operation.
It's recommended to clean the condenser coils every 6 months. Use a vacuum or a soft brush to remove dust and debris, ensuring efficient operation and energy savings.
Check if the light bulb needs replacement. If the bulb is fine, inspect the light switch for any obstructions or damage. If necessary, consult a professional for wiring issues.
