To reset the filter indicator light, press and hold the "Alarm/Hold 3 sec for Filter Reset" button for about 3 seconds. The light should turn off, indicating that the reset was successful.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in properly and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Ensure the temperature settings are correct. Clean the condenser coils and check if the door seals are tight and not obstructed. If the problem persists, contact a technician.
Unplug the refrigerator. Locate the condenser coils at the back or beneath the refrigerator. Use a vacuum cleaner or a coil brush to remove dust and debris. Clean the coils every 6-12 months for optimal performance.
Water pooling can be caused by a blocked defrost drain. Clear the drain using warm water or a pipe cleaner. Ensure that food items do not obstruct the drain. If the issue continues, consider checking the defrost system.
Turn off the water supply. Locate the filter inside the refrigerator and turn it counterclockwise to remove it. Insert a new filter and turn clockwise until it locks. Turn the water supply back on and run water through the dispenser to clear air from the system.
For optimal food preservation, set the refrigerator temperature to 37°F (3°C) and the freezer temperature to 0°F (-18°C). Adjust as necessary based on the amount of food stored and ambient room temperature.
Ensure the ice maker is turned on and the water supply line is connected. Check for ice blockages in the ice maker unit and clear them. If the ice maker is still not working, reset it by turning it off and on again.
Noises can be due to the refrigerator not being level. Adjust the leveling feet to stabilize the unit. Additionally, ensure that the refrigerator is not touching the wall or other surfaces, which can cause vibrations.
Keep the refrigerator and freezer doors closed as much as possible. Clean the condenser coils regularly and ensure the door seals are intact. Avoid overloading the refrigerator, which can obstruct air circulation.
Regularly clean the interior and exterior of the refrigerator. Check and replace the water filter every 6 months. Clean the condenser coils annually and inspect the door seals for any wear and tear.
