To connect your Samsung AU7980 to Wi-Fi, navigate to Settings > General > Network > Open Network Settings. Select Wireless, and choose your Wi-Fi network. Enter the password if prompted, and select Done.
To reset your Samsung AU7980 TV, go to Settings > General > Reset. Enter your PIN (0000 if you haven't changed it) and select Reset. Confirm by selecting OK.
If your TV won't turn on, ensure it is plugged in and the outlet works. Try using the power button on the TV itself, or replace the remote batteries. If the issue persists, unplug the TV for 60 seconds, then try again.
To update the software, go to Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now. If an update is available, it will download and install automatically.
Screen flickering could be due to a loose HDMI connection or outdated software. Check and secure all connections, and ensure your TV software is up-to-date.
To enable Game Mode, go to Settings > General > External Device Manager > Game Mode Settings, and toggle Game Mode to On.
Check if the mute button is on or if the volume is turned down. Ensure that any external speakers are properly connected and that the TV audio output is set correctly in Settings > Sound.
Go to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode and choose a mode that suits your preference. You can also manually adjust settings like Brightness, Contrast, and Sharpness under Expert Settings.
To set up voice control, press the Microphone button on your remote and follow the on-screen instructions to enable Bixby or another voice assistant. Ensure your TV is connected to the internet.
Use a microfiber cloth slightly dampened with water or a screen cleaner. Gently wipe the screen without pressing too hard. Avoid using paper towels or any cleaning agents containing alcohol or ammonia.
