To calibrate your drone, open the FreeFlight Pro app, connect your drone, and navigate to the calibration menu. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the calibration process, ensuring your drone is on a flat surface.
Ensure that your drone is fully charged and turned on. Check your mobile device's Wi-Fi settings to connect to the drone’s network. Restart the app and your device if needed. If the issue persists, reinstall the app or update the firmware.
Open the FreeFlight Pro app, connect your drone, and you'll be prompted if a firmware update is available. Follow the instructions provided in the app to download and install the update, ensuring a stable internet connection.
Store the battery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep it at around 50% charge for long-term storage. Avoid exposing the battery to extreme temperatures.
Ensure your drone is in an open area away from tall buildings or dense trees. Restart the drone and app, and wait a few minutes for the GPS to connect. Check for any app or firmware updates that may improve GPS performance.
Check for interference from other electronic devices or Wi-Fi networks. Ensure your mobile device is within range and has no background apps running. Try switching to a lower video quality setting in the app to improve performance.
To perform a factory reset, press and hold the power button for 10 seconds until the lights flash. This will reset the settings to default. Remember to recalibrate the drone afterwards.
Conduct a visual inspection before each flight for any damages or loose parts. Perform more thorough maintenance checks after every 10 hours of flight time, including propeller and motor inspections.
Use a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and dirt from the drone's body and camera. For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth. Avoid using liquids directly on the drone to prevent damage to electronic components.
Ensure the battery is fully charged and in good condition. Fly in optimal weather conditions with minimal wind. Reduce payload weight and avoid aggressive flying maneuvers that can drain the battery faster.
