To calibrate the sensors on your Parrot ParrotFields drone, power on the drone, connect it to the control app, and navigate to the settings menu. Select 'Calibration' and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
Ensure both the drone and controller are fully charged. Restart both devices and try reconnecting. If the issue persists, check for firmware updates for both devices and perform the pairing process again.
To improve battery life, avoid flying in extreme temperatures, reduce aggressive maneuvers, and ensure the battery is fully charged before each flight. Store the battery at a 50% charge if not used for extended periods.
Regularly inspect the propellers for any cracks or damage. Clean them with a soft cloth to remove dust and debris. Replace them if they show signs of wear or damage to ensure optimal flight performance.
Connect the drone to your computer via USB or use the control app. Check for available updates in the app or on the official website. Follow the instructions provided to download and install the latest firmware.
Ensure your mobile device is within the recommended range and that there are no obstructions causing interference. Try lowering the video resolution settings in the app or closing other apps running in the background.
To perform a factory reset, locate the reset button on the drone, usually near the battery compartment. Press and hold the reset button for 10 seconds until the LED indicators flash, then release the button.
Store the drone in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Remove the battery and store it at a 50% charge if unused for long periods. Use a protective case to prevent dust and damage.
Ensure the drone is in an open area with a clear view of the sky. Wait for the GPS signal to stabilize before takeoff. Avoid flying near tall buildings or metal structures that can interfere with the GPS signal.
Immediately check the battery connection and ensure it is secure. Inspect the battery for any signs of damage. If the issue persists, contact customer support for further assistance. Avoid flying until the problem is resolved.
