To reset the Olympus FE-130 to factory settings, turn on the camera, press the "Menu" button, navigate to the "Settings" menu, and select "Reset" or "Initialize" option. Confirm the reset when prompted.
The Olympus FE-130 uses two AA alkaline or NiMH rechargeable batteries. Ensure the batteries are inserted according to the polarity indicated in the battery compartment.
To transfer photos, connect the camera to your computer using a USB cable. Turn on the camera and select "PC" mode. Your computer should recognize the camera as a removable drive, allowing you to copy photos to your computer.
A 'Card Error' message may indicate a problem with the memory card. Try removing and reinserting the card, formatting it in the camera, or using a different card to resolve the issue.
To change the image resolution, press the "Menu" button, navigate to the "Image Quality" settings, and select your desired resolution. Higher resolution settings provide better image quality but use more storage space.
If the lens is stuck, try turning the camera off and on again. Gently tapping the camera or using compressed air to clean around the lens barrel may help. If the problem persists, professional servicing may be required.
To improve battery life, use NiMH rechargeable batteries, reduce the use of the camera's LCD screen, disable the flash when not needed, and avoid using continuous shooting modes.
The Olympus FE-130 supports xD-Picture Cards with capacities up to 1GB. Using cards larger than this may not be compatible with the camera.
To set the date and time, press the "Menu" button, navigate to the "Setup" menu, and select "Date/Time." Use the arrow buttons to adjust the settings and confirm your selection.
If your camera won't turn on, check the battery compartment to ensure batteries are correctly installed and charged. Try replacing the batteries or cleaning the battery contacts. If the issue persists, seek professional repair.
