To reset the Nikon D7000 to factory settings, go to the Setup Menu and select 'Reset', then choose 'Yes' to confirm the reset.
For cleaning the sensor, use a blower to remove dust. If necessary, use a sensor cleaning kit with swabs and solution specifically designed for cameras.
Download the latest firmware from Nikon's official website, copy it to a formatted SD card, and insert the card into the camera. Then, navigate to the firmware update option in the Setup Menu and follow the instructions.
Ensure that the lens is set to autofocus (AF) mode. Check if the AF mode on the camera is appropriate for your subject. Cleaning the lens contacts and checking for any obstructions in the focus ring may also help.
Check for any settings that may consume battery life, such as live view, high LCD brightness, or continuous autofocus. Consider updating the firmware and replacing the battery if it's old.
To shoot in RAW format, press the 'Quality' button and turn the main command dial until you see 'RAW' or 'RAW+JPEG' on the display.
Use a fast lens with a wide aperture, increase the ISO sensitivity, and consider using a tripod or image stabilization to reduce blur. Adjust the shutter speed and use manual focus if necessary.
Avoid continuous live view or video recording for extended periods. Turn off the camera when not in use, and consider using a battery grip to spread the load over two batteries.
Press the 'BKT' button and use the command dial to set the number of shots and exposure increment. The camera will automatically adjust settings for each shot in the bracket.
Set the camera to 'Continuous High' shooting mode, use dynamic-area AF for tracking, and choose a fast shutter speed to freeze motion. Adjust ISO and aperture as needed for proper exposure.
