To calibrate the tuner, press the 'CALIB' button repeatedly until the desired frequency is displayed. The default setting is 440 Hz, but you can adjust it between 410 Hz and 480 Hz.
Turn off the TM-50, then open the battery compartment located on the back. Remove the old batteries and insert new AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Close the compartment securely.
Ensure the volume is turned up and not muted. Check if the headphones are plugged in; if they are, unplug them to test the speaker. If the issue persists, replace the batteries or reset the device.
Press the 'TUNER' button to activate the tuner and the 'METRONOME' button to start the metronome. Both functions can be used at the same time, allowing you to practice intonation and rhythm simultaneously.
Check if the batteries are depleted and replace them if necessary. Ensure the power is turned on. If the display remains blank, try resetting the device by removing and reinserting the batteries.
Use the 'TEMPO' up and down buttons to adjust the tempo. You can also tap the 'TAP' button at the desired tempo to set it manually. The tempo range is from 30 to 252 beats per minute.
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior. Avoid using solvents or abrasive cleaners. Store the TM-50 in a protective case when not in use to prevent dust accumulation and physical damage.
To reset the TM-50, hold down the 'CALIB' and 'METRONOME' buttons while turning the power on. This will restore the factory default settings.
The KORG TM-50 is designed to operate on batteries and does not have a power adapter input. Use AAA batteries for operation.
Ensure the instrument is directly in front of the TM-50's mic, or use a contact mic for enhanced accuracy. Minimize background noise and ensure the calibration setting matches your tuning requirements.
