To attach the KORG Rimpitch-C, insert the tuner into the sound hole of your acoustic guitar. Ensure that the display is facing upward and is visible through the strings. Adjust the position so that it fits securely without interfering with the strings.
To change the battery, gently remove the Rimpitch-C from your guitar. Open the battery compartment cover located on the side of the tuner. Remove the old battery and insert a new CR2032 lithium coin battery, ensuring the positive side is facing up. Close the compartment securely.
If your Rimpitch-C is not turning on, check the battery to ensure it is installed correctly and has sufficient charge. Replace with a new battery if necessary. If the problem persists, ensure that the battery contacts are clean and free of debris.
The KORG Rimpitch-C has a standard calibration of A=440Hz. If you wish to adjust the calibration, refer to the manual for instructions on entering calibration mode, where you can adjust the pitch in 1Hz increments.
The KORG Rimpitch-C is specifically designed for acoustic guitars and fits into the sound hole. It is not suitable for electric guitars, as they do not have a sound hole for attachment.
To clean your Rimpitch-C, use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the surface. Avoid using water, cleaning solutions, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the device.
If your Rimpitch-C is not detecting certain strings, ensure it is properly positioned within the sound hole and not obstructed by the strings. Double-check that the battery is fresh and properly installed. If the issue persists, try tuning in a quieter environment to reduce interference.
The KORG Rimpitch-C is designed to fit standard sound holes found in most acoustic guitars. However, if your guitar has a non-standard sound hole size or shape, compatibility may vary. Always check fit before purchasing.
To improve the accuracy of your Rimpitch-C, ensure it is properly seated in the sound hole and that the guitar is in a stable position. Minimize surrounding noise and vibrations during tuning for the most accurate results.
A dim display usually indicates a low battery. Replace the current battery with a new CR2032 lithium coin battery. If the display remains dim after battery replacement, verify that the battery is installed correctly and the contacts are clean.
