Frigidaire FPID2498SF Owner's Guide

To reset the Frigidaire FPID2498SF, press the 'Cancel' button. This will stop the current cycle, drain the dishwasher, and reset it for a new cycle.
Ensure the dishwasher door is fully closed and latched. Check if the appliance is properly plugged in and that the circuit breaker is not tripped.
Remove the lower rack and locate the filter at the bottom of the dishwasher. Twist it counterclockwise to remove, rinse under warm water, and replace it securely.
Check if the drain hose is kinked or clogged. Ensure the filter is clean and free of debris. Run the dishwasher with a cleaning solution to clear any blockages.
Use high-quality, automatic dishwasher detergents in tablet, gel, or powder form. Avoid using regular dish soap or hand soap.
The top rack can be adjusted by lifting the handles on each side to raise or lower the rack, allowing for more space below for larger items.
Regularly clean the filter and spray arms. Check and clean the door gasket, and run a cleaning cycle with vinegar or a dishwasher cleaner monthly.
Ensure dishes are loaded correctly without blocking the spray arms. Check for adequate water temperature and use the correct amount of detergent.
Noises can be caused by items obstructing the spray arms. Check that dishes are properly loaded and not rattling against each other.
Use a rinse aid to prevent spots and film. Ensure the water softener is functioning if your area has hard water.
