Place larger items like pots and pans on the lower rack and smaller items on the upper rack. Ensure that dishes do not block the spray arms and that all items are dishwasher safe.
Check for blockages in the drain hose and garbage disposal. Clean the filter and ensure that the drain pump is functioning properly.
Remove the lower rack and twist the filter counterclockwise to remove it. Rinse the filter under running water to remove debris. Reinstall the filter by twisting it clockwise until it locks into place.
Noises may be caused by items in the dishwasher hitting the spray arms. Ensure that dishes are properly loaded and that nothing is obstructing the spray arms.
Ensure that the spray arms are not blocked and that the detergent dispenser is functioning. Check the water temperature and make sure it's at least 120°F for optimal cleaning.
Regularly clean the filter, check and clean the spray arms, and inspect the door gasket for any debris or damage. Run a cleaning cycle using a dishwasher cleaner once a month.
To reset the dishwasher, press the cancel button and wait for the dishwasher to drain. Once it stops, you can restart your desired wash cycle.
Ensure that the dishwasher is level and that there's no obstruction preventing the door from closing. Check the latch mechanism for any visible damage.
Odors can result from food debris trapped in the filter or spray arms. Clean these areas regularly and run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner or vinegar.
Open the rinse aid dispenser by turning the knob. Adjust the setting by moving the dial to the desired level, with 1 being the lowest and 6 being the highest dispensing level.
