To reset the Denon DRA-397 to factory settings, turn off the power using the power switch. Then, while holding the 'Speaker A' and 'Speaker B' buttons, turn the power back on. Release the buttons when the display starts flashing.
The Denon DRA-397 is designed to work with speakers that have an impedance of 6 to 16 ohms. Ensure your speakers fall within this range for optimal performance.
To connect a subwoofer to the DRA-397, use the pre-out connection on the back panel labeled 'Subwoofer'. Connect an RCA cable from this output to the subwoofer's LFE input.
If there is no sound coming from the Denon DRA-397, check that the speaker cables are connected properly, the correct input source is selected, and the volume is turned up. Also, ensure that the mute function is not activated.
The Denon DRA-397 does not have built-in Bluetooth capabilities. To stream music via Bluetooth, you will need to use an external Bluetooth adapter connected to one of the input sources.
The Denon DRA-397 does not support firmware updates. If you are experiencing issues, consider consulting the user manual for troubleshooting steps or contact Denon support.
If the Denon DRA-397 overheats, ensure it is placed in a well-ventilated area with sufficient airflow. Avoid stacking other components on top of it and check for any blockages in the ventilation openings.
To improve FM radio reception on the DRA-397, adjust the FM antenna's position or use an external FM antenna connected to the FM antenna input. Avoid placing the receiver near devices that can cause interference.
The 'Source Direct' button bypasses the tone control and balance settings, providing a more direct signal path to deliver the audio as it was intended, which can improve sound quality.
To connect a turntable to the Denon DRA-397, use the 'PHONO' input on the back panel. If your turntable does not have a built-in preamp, you will need to connect it through an external phono preamp.
