BenQ MP771 User Manual

To connect your BenQ MP771 projector to a laptop, use a VGA or HDMI cable. Connect one end of the cable to the laptop's port and the other end to the corresponding port on the projector. Then, turn on the projector and select the appropriate input source using the projector's menu.
If the projector does not turn on, ensure that it is plugged into a working power outlet and that the power cable is securely connected. Check that the power indicator light is on. If the problem persists, try resetting the projector by unplugging it for a few minutes before plugging it back in.
To adjust the image focus on the BenQ MP771, use the focus ring located around the projector's lens. Rotate the focus ring until the image becomes clear and sharp.
A blurry image can be caused by incorrect focus, so make sure to adjust the focus ring. Additionally, check the projection distance and ensure the projector is on a stable surface. Clean the projector lens if necessary to remove any dust or smudges.
To replace the lamp, turn off the projector and allow it to cool down. Remove the lamp cover and unscrew the old lamp. Carefully insert the new lamp and secure it with screws. Replace the lamp cover and reset the lamp timer through the projector's menu.
The 'Temperature Warning' light indicates that the projector is overheating. Ensure that the projector is not obstructed and that the ventilation openings are not blocked. Consider cleaning the air filters and placing the projector in a well-ventilated area.
To correct keystone distortion, use the keystone correction feature in the projector's menu. Adjust the horizontal or vertical keystone settings until the image is properly aligned and squared on the screen.
If there is no sound, ensure that the audio cables are properly connected and that the volume is not muted on both the projector and the source device. Check the audio source settings in the projector's menu to ensure the correct input is selected.
To clean the air filter, turn off the projector and unplug it. Remove the filter cover and take out the air filter. Use a vacuum cleaner or compressed air to remove dust and debris. Reinstall the filter and cover before using the projector again.
BenQ MP771 projectors typically do not require firmware updates. However, if an update is necessary, consult the user manual or contact BenQ support for specific instructions on obtaining and installing the firmware.
