To connect your BenQ MP525P projector to a laptop, use a VGA cable. Connect one end to the VGA port on your laptop and the other end to the "Computer In" port on the projector. Select the appropriate input source on the projector using the "Source" button.
If the BenQ MP525P projector is not turning on, ensure that it is properly connected to a working power outlet. Check the power cord for any damage. If the power indicator light is off, try a different outlet or power cord. If the issue persists, contact BenQ support.
To clean the projector's lens, use a soft, lint-free cloth. Gently wipe the lens in a circular motion. Avoid using any liquid cleaners or applying excessive pressure, as this may damage the lens.
A blurry image can be fixed by adjusting the focus ring on the projector. Ensure the projector is positioned at the correct distance from the screen and that the lens is clean. Check the resolution settings to match the projector's native resolution.
To change the lamp, turn off the projector and unplug it. Allow it to cool down. Remove the lamp cover and unscrew the lamp module. Replace it with a new lamp module, secure it with screws, and replace the cover.
If the projector overheats, ensure it is placed in a well-ventilated area. Check that the air vents are not blocked. Clean the air filter if necessary. If overheating continues, reduce the ambient temperature or lower the lamp brightness.
To reset the BenQ MP525P projector to factory settings, press the "Menu" button, go to the "System Setup" menu, select "Reset", and confirm your selection. This will restore all settings to their defaults.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the air filter every 100 hours of use and checking the lamp hours regularly. Replace the lamp when it reaches its end-of-life warning. Keep the projector and its environment dust-free.
To adjust keystone correction, press the "Keystone" button on the projector or remote control. Use the arrow keys to adjust the image until it is rectangular. This helps correct any image distortion caused by the projector's angle.
The BenQ MP525P projector supports a native resolution of 1024x768 (XGA). It can also handle input signals from various resolutions, scaling them to fit the display.
