To perform a factory reset, make sure your Chromebook is on. Sign out of your account, then press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Shift + R. Select "Restart" and in the box that appears, select "Powerwash" and then "Continue".
First, check if the battery is charged by plugging in your Chromebook and allowing it to charge for at least 30 minutes. Then, try turning it on again. If it still doesn't turn on, perform a hard reset by pressing and holding the Refresh button and then pressing the Power button.
To extend battery life, reduce screen brightness, close unused tabs and apps, turn off Bluetooth when not in use, and keep your Chromebook's software updated.
To update your Chromebook, ensure it's connected to the internet. Click on the status area at the bottom right, then the Settings cog. Scroll down and click "About Chrome OS", then select "Check for updates". Your Chromebook will download and install available updates.
Your Chromebook may be running slow due to too many open tabs or apps. Try closing unnecessary tabs and apps. Clear your browsing data by going to Settings > Privacy and security > Clear browsing data. Consider restarting your Chromebook to refresh system resources.
Click on the status area at the bottom right of the screen, then click on the Wi-Fi icon. Select your network from the list and enter the password if required. Ensure the Wi-Fi toggle is turned on.
To print, ensure your printer is Google Cloud Print compatible. Open the document you want to print, press Ctrl + P, select "See more" under Destination, and choose your printer. Adjust settings as needed and click "Print".
For offline access, open Google Drive, click the gear icon, and select Settings. Check the box next to "Offline" to enable it. Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides can now be edited offline and will sync once connected to the internet.
Regularly update your Chromebook's OS, clean the screen and keyboard with a soft cloth, and avoid exposing it to extreme temperatures or moisture. Back up important data to Google Drive or an external storage device.
Ensure the volume is not muted and is set to a proper level. Check audio settings in the status area. Restart your Chromebook and check for software updates. If issues persist, try using headphones or external speakers to determine if the problem is with the internal speakers.
