To start a wash cycle, first load your laundry into the drum. Add detergent to the appropriate compartment in the detergent drawer. Select the desired wash program using the program selector dial. Finally, press the start/pause button to begin the wash cycle.
Ensure the washer is plugged in and the power socket is functioning. Check that the door is properly closed and the start/pause button has been pressed. Also, verify that the water supply is turned on.
To clean the detergent drawer, remove it by pulling it out until it stops. Press the release button and completely remove the drawer. Rinse it under warm water to remove any detergent residue and reinsert it into the washer.
Check if the drain hose is kinked or blocked. Ensure the pump filter is clean by accessing it behind the cover at the bottom of the washer. Remove any obstructions and clean the filter if needed.
Ensure the washer is level by adjusting its feet. Avoid overloading the washer and distribute the laundry evenly. Check if the transportation bolts have been removed if the washer is new.
It is recommended to clean the filter every month to prevent blockages and ensure efficient operation. More frequent cleaning may be necessary if the washer is used heavily.
Loud noises may be caused by unbalanced loads, foreign objects in the drum, or a faulty drum bearing. Check for and remove any foreign objects and ensure the load is balanced. Contact a technician if the issue persists.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the detergent drawer, checking and cleaning the filter, and inspecting the hoses for leaks or damage. Run an empty cycle with a washing machine cleaner periodically to prevent odors.
To prevent odors, leave the door slightly open after each wash to allow air circulation. Regularly clean the drum and gasket with a damp cloth and use a washing machine cleaner monthly.
Inspect the water inlet and drain hoses for any cracks or loose connections. Ensure the detergent drawer is closed properly and not overfilled. If leakage continues, contact a qualified technician.
