To load dishes efficiently, make sure that larger items like pots and pans are placed on the bottom rack, while cups, glasses, and smaller items should be placed on the top rack. Ensure that dishes do not block the spray arms and that they face downwards or towards the center for optimal cleaning.
If the dishwasher is not draining, check the filter and drain hose for blockages. Ensure that the drain hose is not kinked and is installed at the correct height. Clean out any debris from the filter and check the pump impeller for obstructions.
To clean the filter, remove the bottom rack to access the filter at the bottom of the dishwasher. Turn the filter counterclockwise to remove it. Rinse it under running water to remove debris, and use a soft brush if necessary. Reassemble the filter by placing it back and turning it clockwise until it locks.
Error code i30 usually indicates water leakage or an issue with the anti-flood device. Check for any water leaks under or around the dishwasher. Inspect the hoses and connections for leaks. If no visible leaks are found, try resetting the dishwasher by unplugging it for a few minutes. If the problem persists, contact a service technician.
It is recommended to clean the spray arms every 3 to 4 months, or if you notice that dishes are not being cleaned properly. To clean, remove the spray arms and rinse them under running water. Use a toothpick or a small brush to clear blocked holes. Reattach the spray arms once clean.
Use a high-quality dishwasher detergent that is suitable for use in automatic dishwashers. You can choose between powder, gel, or tablet forms, depending on your preference. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions on the detergent packaging.
To prevent bad odors, regularly clean the filter and wipe down the door seals with a damp cloth. Run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner or a cup of white vinegar placed on the top rack. Ensure that food residues are scraped off dishes before loading them into the dishwasher.
Dishes may remain wet if the rinse aid is not being used or is set too low. Ensure that the rinse aid dispenser is filled and adjust the rinse aid setting if necessary. Also, ensure that the selected program includes a drying phase. Opening the door slightly after the cycle can also help with drying.
To reset the dishwasher, press and hold the Start/Reset button for about 3 seconds until the program indicator lights turn off. This will cancel the current cycle and reset the dishwasher. You may need to select a new program to start the dishwasher again.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the filter, spray arms, and door seals. Check the water inlet and drain hoses for leaks or blockages, and ensure that the dishwasher is level. It's also advisable to run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner monthly to remove limescale and residues.
