To clean the lint filter, open the dryer door and pull the filter straight up. Remove the lint by rolling it off with your fingers. Rinse the filter with warm water if needed, dry it completely, and place it back into the dryer.
Ensure the dryer is plugged in and the circuit breaker hasn't tripped. Check the door is completely closed and the 'Control Lock' feature is turned off. If the issue persists, consult the user manual or contact a technician.
To deactivate the Control Lock, press and hold the 'Control Lock' button for three seconds until the indicator light turns off. Refer to your user manual for specific button locations.
Use a damp cloth with a mild detergent to wipe down the interior of the dryer drum. Avoid using harsh chemicals. Rinse thoroughly with a clean damp cloth and dry with a soft towel.
Check the lint filter and exhaust vent for blockages. Ensure the dryer is not overloaded and that the room temperature is within the recommended range. If the problem persists, the moisture sensor may require cleaning or service.
Press the 'Cycle' button to select the desired drying cycle. Use the 'Modifiers' buttons to adjust temperature, dryness level, and other settings. Confirm your selection by pressing 'Start'.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the lint filter after each use, checking and cleaning the exhaust vent annually, and inspecting the drum and door seals for wear and tear.
Unusual noises could be due to loose items in the drum, worn drum rollers, or a loose belt. Check for any foreign objects and ensure the dryer is level. If noises persist, a technician may need to inspect the internal components.
To reset the dryer, unplug it from the power outlet or turn off the circuit breaker for one minute. Plug it back in or turn the circuit breaker on. This may resolve minor electronic glitches.
Error codes indicate specific issues with the dryer. Refer to the user manual for a list of error codes and their meanings. Follow the suggested troubleshooting steps or contact customer service for assistance.
