To connect your smartphone to the Entune system, enable Bluetooth on your phone, select 'Setup' on the Entune display, choose 'Bluetooth', then 'Add New Device'. On your phone, select the Prius Prime from the list of available devices and confirm the pairing code.
Ensure the microphone is not blocked and speak clearly. Check if the 'Voice Recognition' feature is enabled in the settings. If issues persist, try resetting the system by holding down the power button for a few seconds.
To update the navigation maps, visit the Toyota website to download the latest map update to a USB drive, then insert it into the USB port of your vehicle. Follow on-screen instructions to complete the update.
The system may be slow due to multiple running applications. Try closing unused apps or performing a soft reset by turning the car off and on. Regular software updates can also improve performance.
To improve fuel efficiency, use ECO mode, ensure tires are properly inflated, and regularly maintain your vehicle, including oil changes and air filter replacements. Minimize rapid acceleration and heavy braking.
Refer to the owner’s manual for the recommended maintenance schedule, which typically includes regular oil changes every 10,000 miles, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Turn the vehicle to ON mode, press the trip button until 'Trip A' is displayed, turn the vehicle off, then hold the trip button while turning the vehicle back to ON mode. Release the button when the maintenance light resets.
First, check that the volume is turned up and the mute is off. Ensure the audio source is connected or inserted properly. If the issue persists, check the fuse or consult a dealer for further diagnostics.
To enable the Wi-Fi hotspot, go to the Entune app suite, select 'Wi-Fi', and turn it on. You'll need an active data plan through Toyota's partnered service provider to use this feature.
The 2019 Prius Prime does not support Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. However, you can use the Entune app suite to access certain smartphone features and apps.
