Toro Power Clear 821 QZE 38757 Quick Start Guide

To start the snow thrower, ensure it's on a flat surface, turn the fuel valve to 'ON', insert the key, press the primer bulb twice, engage the choke, and pull the recoil starter or use the electric start button.
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher, containing no more than 10% ethanol. Avoid using E15 or E85 fuel blends.
Check if the fuel tank is empty, the spark plug is dirty or damaged, and ensure the choke is in the correct position. Also, verify the key is inserted and the fuel valve is open.
Regularly inspect the auger for damage, clear any debris after use, and ensure the shear pins are intact. Lubricate the auger bearings annually or as needed.
Check for obstructions in the chute or auger, ensure the auger drive is engaged, and verify the engine is running at full speed. Adjust the chute deflector for optimal performance.
Run the engine for a few minutes to warm the oil, turn off the engine, remove the oil drain plug, and let the oil drain completely. Replace the oil with SAE 5W-30 detergent oil.
Drain the fuel or add a fuel stabilizer, clean the machine thoroughly, lubricate moving parts, and store the snow thrower in a dry, covered area.
Disconnect the spark plug wire, remove the old spark plug using a wrench, and install a new plug with the correct gap setting. Reattach the spark plug wire securely.
Excessive vibration can be caused by a damaged auger, loose parts, or engine mounting bolts. Inspect and tighten any loose components and replace damaged parts as necessary.
Use the chute control lever to change the direction of the snow discharge. Adjust the chute deflector by loosening the knobs, setting the desired angle, and then tightening the knobs securely.
