Always wear protective gear such as goggles and gloves. Ensure the drill bit is securely fastened before operation. Keep hands away from the rotating parts and do not operate in wet conditions.
Ensure the drill is powered off. Hold the drill chuck firmly, rotate it counterclockwise to loosen, insert the new drill bit, and then rotate clockwise to tighten.
Check if the battery is charged and properly connected. Inspect for any visible damages or loose connections and ensure the power switch is in the 'on' position.
Perform basic maintenance after every 20 hours of use. This includes cleaning the exterior, checking for wear and tear, and lubricating moving parts.
Store the drill in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure it is clean and the battery is removed if it will not be used for an extended period.
To maximize battery life, avoid deep discharges and charge the battery fully before storage. Store the battery at room temperature and avoid exposure to extreme temperatures.
Immediately stop the drill and switch it off. Reverse the drill direction slowly to back out the bit, or use a wrench if necessary to gently free it.
Use a soft brush or cloth to remove dust and debris from the exterior. Avoid using water or harsh chemicals. Ensure all vents are clear of obstructions.
The recommended torque setting for general drilling is medium, around 10-15 Nm, depending on the material. Adjust as needed for specific tasks.
Ensure vents are not blocked and the motor is not overloaded. Allow the drill to cool down between uses, and check for any signs of wear that might cause excessive friction.
