To lock the controls, press and hold the lock button (usually marked with a key symbol) for a few seconds until the lock indicator lights up. To unlock, repeat the process.
First, ensure the hob is properly connected to the power supply and that the circuit breaker is not tripped. If the problem persists, refer to the user manual or contact customer support.
