To bind the receiver, power it on while holding the bind button until the LED flashes. Then, put your transmitter into bind mode. The binding is successful when the LED becomes solid.
First, ensure that the antenna is correctly positioned and not damaged. Check for sources of interference nearby and ensure batteries in both the transmitter and receiver are fully charged.
Connect the receiver to a compatible Spektrum transmitter or update device with the latest firmware file. Follow the manufacturer's instructions to complete the update process.
The SPMAR6300 is compatible with DSM2 and DSMX Spektrum transmitters. Ensure your transmitter supports one of these protocols.
Ensure the receiver is in bind mode (LED flashing), the transmitter is in bind mode, and they are within a few meters. Check for firmware updates or try binding in a different environment to avoid interference.
The SPMAR6300 typically has a range of up to 2 kilometers in optimal conditions. Always perform a range test before flight to ensure reliable signal.
Activate range test mode on your transmitter, which reduces output power. Walk away from the model and ensure control is maintained at a reduced range, typically 30 meters.
A flashing LED indicates bind mode, a solid LED indicates a successful connection, and a blinking LED during operation can indicate a signal loss or low voltage.
Position the antenna away from metal and electronic components. Avoid flying near high-power radio transmitters and ensure all connections are secure.
Regularly inspect the antenna for damage, ensure firmware is up to date, and check for secure connections. Clean the receiver with compressed air to remove dust and debris.
