To transfer photos to your smartphone, use the 'Smart Remote Control' app on your camera and the 'PlayMemories Mobile' app on your smartphone. Connect both devices via Wi-Fi, and follow the on-screen instructions to transfer photos.
First, ensure that the battery is fully charged and inserted correctly. If the camera still doesn't turn on, try removing and reinserting the battery. If the issue persists, perform a reset by removing the battery and memory card, then reinserting them after a few minutes.
Visit the Sony support website to download the latest firmware update for the NEX-5T. Connect the camera to your computer via USB and follow the instructions provided in the firmware update package. Ensure the battery is fully charged before starting the update process.
To manually focus, switch the lens to MF (Manual Focus) mode. Use the focus ring on the lens to adjust focus. You can also enable focus peaking in the menu to assist in determining the sharpest focus.
Use a blower to gently remove dust from the sensor. If necessary, use a sensor cleaning kit with a sensor swab and cleaning solution specifically designed for cameras. Always follow the manufacturer's instructions to avoid damaging the sensor.
To extend battery life, reduce the use of the LCD screen by using the viewfinder, turn off Wi-Fi when not needed, and lower the screen brightness. Consider carrying a spare battery for longer shooting sessions.
Blurry photos can result from camera shake or incorrect focus. Use a faster shutter speed, stabilize the camera with a tripod, and ensure proper focus settings are used. Check that the lens is clean and the image stabilization is turned on if available.
To reset the camera to factory settings, go to the 'Setup' menu, select 'Setting Reset', and choose 'Initialize'. Confirm the reset when prompted. This will erase all custom settings and return the camera to its default state.
The Sony NEX-5T is compatible with E-mount lenses. You can also use A-mount lenses with an appropriate adapter. Check the Sony website for a complete list of compatible lenses.
To improve low-light performance, use a lens with a wide aperture, increase the ISO settings, and consider using a tripod to allow for longer exposure times without camera shake. Shooting in RAW format can also help with post-processing adjustments.
