To update the software, connect the NSX Monitor to a Wi-Fi network, navigate to Settings > System > Software Update, and follow the on-screen instructions to download and install the latest version.
First, perform a soft reset by holding the power button for 10 seconds. If the issue persists, check for any available software updates or contact Simrad support for further assistance.
Press and hold any icon on the home screen to enter edit mode. From there, you can move icons, add new ones from the app drawer, or remove unwanted icons.
Ensure that the GPS antenna is not obstructed, and try repositioning it for better line-of-sight to the sky. Also, check the GPS settings in the device menu to ensure they are correctly configured.
Download the Simrad app on your smartphone, enable Bluetooth on both devices, and follow the app's instructions to pair and sync your smartphone with the NSX Monitor.
Check the Wi-Fi settings to ensure the correct network is selected and the password is accurate. Restart the monitor and the router, and if necessary, reset the network settings on the device.
Regularly clean the screen with a soft, damp cloth, avoid exposure to extreme temperatures, and ensure all cables and connections are secure and free from corrosion.
Use a microSD card or USB storage device to export data from the NSX Monitor. Navigate to Settings > System > Data Management and select the files you wish to back up.
Check the power connections and ensure that the monitor is receiving power. Try a different power source or cable, and perform a hard reset if necessary. Contact Simrad support if the issue persists.
Go to Settings > System > Reset Options, and select 'Factory Reset'. Confirm your selection and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process. This will erase all data, so back up important files beforehand.
