To assemble the Shark ST110 Mop, first attach the handle to the main body by aligning the grooves and clicking it into place. Make sure the connection is secure.
It is recommended to use distilled water to prevent mineral buildup in the tank. However, tap water can also be used if distilled water is not available.
Ensure the mop is plugged in and turned on. Check if the water tank is filled and securely attached. If it still doesn't steam, descale the mop to remove potential blockages.
Ensure the cleaning pad is clean. Dirty pads can leave streaks. Also, avoid using too much water and allow the floor to dry completely after mopping.
Cleaning pads should be replaced when they show signs of wear or no longer clean effectively. Regular washing can extend their lifespan.
The use of cleaning solutions is not recommended as they may damage the mop. Use only water for steaming.
Empty the tank and rinse it with warm water. For descaling, fill it halfway with a vinegar and water solution, let it sit for a few hours, then rinse thoroughly.
Regularly clean the water tank and replace the cleaning pads. Periodically descale the mop and ensure all parts are free from blockage and dirt.
Allow the mop to cool down, then empty the water tank. Store it in an upright position with the cord wrapped neatly to prevent damage.
A loud noise can be due to trapped air or a blockage. Try turning it off and on again. If the problem persists, inspect for blockages and ensure the water tank is properly seated.
